Our Wishlist is split into multiple catagories to make it more managable. If you are interested in donating items that are not on the list please contact our office for approval. We very much appreciate all donations but we have limited space, so we do not accept clothing and yardsale type items.We recommend those items be donated to Salvation Army as they allow our youth to select needed clothing there at no-cost.

SUPPLIES - *Large black (Kirkland Brand)garbage bags, *Disinfectant Wipes, *Spic N Span, Paper Towels, *3 fold paper towels (Costco or URM), liquid Dial soap

KITCHEN - Orange peelers (2-4), Garlic Press, Pastry Bag, Digital thermometer (the kind you leave in the food inside the oven and it has a cord that extends to the meter on the outside of the oven), *Plastic Full-size Apron (for dishwashing), Funnels, 4 quart or larger Food Storage Containers (sold at URM), cutting boards

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES - backpacking tents, flashlights, *sturdy backpacks, hiking sleeping bags (light weight in stuff sacks prefered), bike locks and chains, hikers camp stove and fuel, Hiking gear, hiking poles, webbing (retired is fine),

INDOOR ACTIVITIES - Family friendly (PG-13 or under) DVDs, and XBOX or PS2 video games, Board Games (What's Yours Like, 5-Second Rule, Quelf)

TUTORING/OFFICE SUPPLIES - Colored pencils, thumb drives/memory sticks, Science activity kits, *sturdy backpacks, HP ink #95 and #98, (NOTE: We do NOT currently need mechanical pencils, pens, or glue)

CRAFTS - Acrilic Paints, Cruicut Cartridges and replacement cutting mats, specialty papers for crafts

HOMELESS YOUTH (NOW) - *sturdy backpacks, *flashlights, *small hand sanitizers

SHELTER (NEAR FUTURE)- New twin beds with new mattresses (preferably with under-bed drawers), white cotton blankets (as used in hospitals) commercial grade/heavy duty washer and dryer, See also Target Gift Registry below.

REMODEL - Licensed Plumber

FOOD ITEMS (listed in general order of need):

GIFT CARDS: We are always in the need for gift cards for groceries so that we can suppliment donated items to make a complete meal.

MEATS: *HAMBERGER and *Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts are the BEST. We can also use sausage, stew meats to steak cuts, and everything in between. *Canned Chicken is a great staple for quesadillas, soups, and cassaroles! Meats is our biggest area of need! (oh, and eggs too!)

DAIRY: *Medium Cheddar CHEESE is our second largest area of need. We also enjoy parmasean, motzarella, montery jack, and canned Queso Cheese (for natchos/pretzels). We prefer pre-shredded but it is not necessary. Sour Cream and cream cheese are awesome too!

CANNED/BOTTLED GOODS: Hidden Valley Ranch Origional Dressing, *Diced tomatoes, Black Beans, Baked Beans, Refried Beans, *Sliced Olives, *Canned Chicken, (see soups below).

FRESH FRUITS & VEGGIES: *Onions, Garlic, Celery, Cutie-style oranges, potatoes, and *Bell peppers. If you are interested in other fresh items, please contact us FIRST.

BOXED ITEMS: Instant Potatoes, *Pancake Mix, *Stove-Top Stuffing, *Noodles/Pasta, and Rice Noodles (for Thai food)

SAUCES & MIXES: *Canned and jarred pasta sauces (not tomato sauce), Powdered Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix, *Sugar free instant pudding mixes (vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch), Gravy mix packets, Au Jus mix packets, Dry Soup Mixes, Medium Salsa, and soy sauce

SEASONINGS & OTHER: Salt, *Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), Cinnamon, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Dill, Allspice, Nutmeg, Pepper, Vanilla Extract, Bay Leaves, Honey, Paprika, Seasoning packets (for tossing with potatoes, fajitas, tacos, etc.) Mrs. Dash Origional, Maple Syrup, and Malt Vinagar

BAKING GOODS: *Flour, *Splenda, (we have plenty of regular sugar for now), Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Brown Sugar, Chocolate Chips, White Chocolate Chips, Raisins,

DRINK MIXES: individual Crystal Light packets, Sugar/Splenda packets, "Stash" brand teas

SOUPS: Cream of Chicken, Cream of Celery, *Cambells Chicken Noodle, Dry soup mixes.

BREADS: Boxed cake, brownie, muffin, *cornbread, and other mixes. We can also really use tortillas. We often need more flour and such for making our own breads.

*Gift Cards to Grocery Stores (for fresh ingredients) are a significant bennefit when there are one or two things we need to purchase to complete a meal set!!!*

 

FOODS WE CAN NOT ACCEPT:

- Anything canned/jarred at home

- Anything home-made by someone without a food handler's card (must bring proof of current card)

- Anything OPENED or with the BROKEN SEAL from a store

- Anything perishable that has been "left out" for more than 2 hours (out of the fridge or the oven) as this becomes a significant health hazard.

- Anything past its "use by" date.

- We cannot accept meats that are NOT BUTCHERED BY A PROFESSIONAL.
